The Purpose
The Clinton Baptist Association shall consist of the Baptist Churches who are in cooperation with the Clinton Baptist Association, the Tennessee Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention, with the purpose of assisting the churches with the Great Commission and the Acts 1:8 Challenge which says, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Ministry: Sharing the Gospel, Soup Kitchen Delivery, Food Pantry and delivery, emergency food, clothing closet, community events, Summer Camp, school supplies and back packs, Angel Tree, Women’s Friendship Circle, Basketball Camp, Fall festival, Thanksgiving Dinner, Movie Night, Christmas Party, Open House, Vacation Bible School, Christmas Food Baskets, Bible Study, Nutritional Class, Parenting Class

Medical Grant: The Tennessee Baptist Mission Board and Baptist Hospital of East TN Medical Missions Fund funds $9,000.00 to the Clinton Baptist Association to assist needy families with filling prescription medicines.

Graduation Celebration: Provides a free celebration for the young adults graduating from High School in the Department of Children Services’ custody. Provide a meal, recognition celebrating their success, a study Bible, care basket with toiletries, bath/kitchen towels, laundry detergent and a $100.00 Wal-Mart gift card.

Daily Needs: Associational churches donate diapers and tote bags to help Department of Children Services when they need to remove children from their homes. The tote bags are for the children’s belongings and the diapers are for Children Services to keep on hand for the small children.

McDonald Gift Cards: Associational Churches donate $5.00 McDonald gift cards to help the Department of Child Services and the Juvenile Court to be used as needed.
