The Anderson County Community Advisory Board will coordinate in order to protect children and strengthen family values through education, encouragement, collaboration nd development of accessible resources. You are welcome to help Anderson County children and families get the support they need to be successful by working with CAB!
How we do it: We share information and collaborate in an effort to: - Identify issues and needs - Determine resources, both available and missing - Help develop formal and informal community based resources for families - Work with the State Advisory Board
CAB Members are: - Families in the community - Local public agencies such as schools, the local health Department & health care providers, Juvenile Court, and law enforcement. - Faith based organizations and other available - YOU!
In certain situations, CAB may review individual cases. Discretion will be used to the extent that such review will not jeopardize confidentiality.
Based on Legislation T.C.A. 37-5-607, each county will have an Independent advisory board composed of community representatives in order to develop and help link families to resources.
IF YOU... - have a request for CAB - Would like to present information about your resource at our next meeting - Would lie to collaborate with other agencies to better support families - Would like to find out what you can do to help children and their families
